Laptop Roadie, LLC is the programming arm of Skyscraper Holding Company. We currently specialize in web solutions for the companies within SHC, as well as national businesses in Legal, Medical, Banking and Entertainment sectors. We can cater to any needs ranging from dynamic website creation and hosting, to web-based software and cloud storage.

Founded in Los Angeles, CA in 2009 as a means to secure data for the Entertainment and Touring industries, we quickly saw the need to expand secure data storage to the Medical, Legal, Banking, Energy and Private sectors. Our skilled staff has allowed us to provide services to clients above and beyond data storage, in addition to addressing the needs of various companies within Skyscraper Holding Company.

Always looking forward, Laptop Roadie has begun development of various web software solutions, as well as iPhone and other mobile applications.

Now that were all done with introductions, check out these sweet overlays...

Music

Did you know that all email is scanned several times before it reaches its' final destination? Instead of insecurely emailing your music, Laptop Roadie allows you to send secure links to your clients so your music is never scanned, mined for information or potentially hacked by your email client's server.

Simply upload your music to your RoadieCloud  and email links for your recipients to download the files. Play mp3's or even full-resolution .wav files directly from your cloud  without compressing or downloading them to your computer or mobile device.

Store your entire ProTools™, Logic™, Nuendo™, Cubase™, Ableton Live™, Reason™, or any DAW sessions on your encrypted RoadieCloud  to avoid costly destruction or theft of your files.

Laptop Roadie is the quick and secure way to archive and share the music you've worked so hard to create. Sign up today for FREE!

Medical

Yes, Laptop Roadie is HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliant. This means we have met all requirements for the security and privacy of all electronic health data transactions as required by the Department of Health and Human Services.

The ability to compress and decompress zipped data archives on the cloud  means that private patient information never has to reside on a local computer. Need to view a patient's file contained in a large folder? No problem. RoadieCloud  will allow you to only view or download the file or files you need to without disturbing the zipped archive of medical data.

From diagnostic clinics storing MRI, CT and PET scans to large hospitals needing terabytes of online archiving, Laptop Roadie allows any medical provider secure encrypted access to any data within its private RoadieCloud  vault. PACS servers requiring outboard DICOM software will soon be a thing of the past, eliminating the need to sign seven-figure, long-term commitments or increase the footprint of your data center.

Did you know Laptop Roadie can host and maintain a remote encrypted PACS server and DICOM viewer to examine MRI / CT / PET scans?

Energy

Oilfield, Natural Gas, Solar, Wind, Geological and 3D seismic data can be huge. Laptop Roadie specializes File Transfer Protocol (FTP), giving us the ability to handle massive data pools with truly  no limit to file sizes. We support any FTP client and supply you with your own URL [yourcompany.laptoproadie.com], making it unnecessary to remember a numeric IP address. Login, drop and drag your files onto your RoadieCloud and walk away - it's that simple. Your FTP software will give you a printable record of all uploads and downloads.

We have several short videos on our website that will show you how easy this is.

Having the ability to store and immediately share these files with your international clients or offshore crew not only saves time but also protects the data itself from being corrupted, stolen or completely destroyed by acts of nature or force majeure.

Gone are the days of overnighting hard drives and spending thousands of dollars on shipping and fuel to get your data where it needs to be. Your energy company already spends heavily on 99.9% uptime; why not utilize the top notch Internet speed you pay for to securely store and distribute data to your clients and crews?

If physical safety is job one, data safety should be included and never come in second. Laptop Roadie provides a secure means for you to shuttle data around the globe, 24 / 7 / 365.

Video

Everyone who works in video production knows that uncompressed video files are too large to email and uploading them to a large 3rd party email client is a completely inefficient way to do business. Why spend the time to upload a video file if you don't have the ability to securely store it there and access it for life?

Laptop Roadie gives you the ability to build your own virtual private film vault to which you may securely add unlimited users and files.

Store your entire Avid™ or Final Cut Pro™ sessions on your encrypted RoadieCloud  to avoid costly theft or destruction of your files. View .mp4, .avi, and .mov files directly from your cloud  without compressing or downloading them to your computer or mobile device.

Imagine viewing your finished product or a working SMPTE time-coded master in an uncompressed file format - right in your iPhone or Droid browser window!

Welcome to Laptop Roadie Video Cloud: the future is now the present.
